Kuta is a tourist area located on the southern part of Bali. It was formerly a fishing village and has become the most popular tourist destination for both domestic and international travelers. The tourism development has made this small fishing village becoming the hub for all other travel destination around Bali. Kuta's white sandy beach makes the area as one of the meeting place and relaxation area for many visitors. Many supporting tourism facilities, shopping area and entertainment stand along the main road of Legian and the beach front Kuta Beach Road.

Kuta is now the center of many tourist activities, night life, and is main the shopping paradise. Wide selection of hotels are available from a simple accommodation to luxury five star hotel. Those budget accommodations are located within 10 to 20 minutes walk to Kuta Beach but they are just a few steps to the shopping centers and entertainment spots.
