Klungkung is the smallest regency in Bali, lies in the eastern part of the
island. The regions spreads on the area of 315 square kilometers with the total
population of around 169,906. It shares the border with Bangli on the north,
Karangasem on the east and Gianyar on the west. Travel from
Bali International Airport is around an hour drive. There are three small
islands in Klungkung, Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan.
Klungkung is also famous classic Balinese paintings tells the story from the
epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana.

Tourism industry is one of the second biggest income for Klungkung Regency.
