Karangasem lies in the eastern part of Bali with Amlapura as the region
capital. The regency spreads on 839,54 square kilometers with the total
population of around 369.320 people. It is one of the regencies in the
Province of Bali. Karangasem shares the border with Jawa Ocean on the
north, Lombok Straits on the east, Buleleng on the north, Klunkung and Bangli on
the west.

Karangasem is one of the travel destination in Bali and is famous for its
under water world and marine life. The tourism industry has been developed as

Amed, Tulamben, Tenganan, Putung, Padang Bai, Sibetan, Iseh, Telaga Waja,
Jemeluk, Bukit Jambul, Taman Ujung, and Yeh Malet.

Manggis and Tulamben. The best diving spots are located offshore Tulamben and
