Forest Research Institution of Malaysia
Tour Description and Information:
A short drive from the bustling capital city of
Kuala Lumpur to the Forest Research Institution of Malaysia (FRIM), a well
managed forest science park. Experience nature through a short jungle trek on
one of the many trails here. You will experience the canopy walkway suspended
between trees which is about 30m above the ground to observe a panoramic view of
the forest.
The Forest Research Institution of Malaysia houses over 50 international
scientists researching the flora and fauna of the rainforests. Information on
the various forests found in Malaysia, where some of their by products can be
seen at the FRIM Museum. Certainly a good insight into the wonders of nature
that Malaysia has to offer.
Daily departure from
Kuala Lumpur except on Mondays and Sundays.
