Bangka Island is located in the Lembeh Strait and is one of the top muddy dives in the world. Octopuses, skeleton shrimp and many other shy critters such as the mimic octopus and the cuttle fish are also common. There are plenty of spots to dive and it is impossible to see all of them in a day or two but with two or three dives a day it is possible to cover most of the spots over a relatively short time. Most of the trips begin in the morning around eight or nine o’clock from Manado city.
