INDONESIA - BINTAN - BINTAN HOTELS |
BINTAN
Bintan is a wonderful island located in the north of Indonesia so close to Singapore that only a 45 minute ferry trip is required. With more and more tourists realising how much the island offers and with its positioning and freedom from VAT due to being in the free trade zone, Bintan hotels are reflecting this growth and offering more and more to potential guests. There are many different types of Hotels in Bintan and they are mainly of a high standard offering villas and suites as well as hotel rooms and with proximity to certain areas such as the parks, the coastline and beaches, the business centre or the harbour it is easy to find the luxury Bintan hotels that are suited to your requirements. Residents of Singapore and many people who travel through Singapore make the trip out to one of the Hotels in Bintan due to the level of luxury and service offered and with such easy access it is also possible to spend one night in a hotel in Bintan and then return to Singapore for a connection allowing you to extend your time in Singapore to an adventure in Indonesia with very little in the way of extra effort. This is an extra element that only a few people are aware of although most do not realise the potential of this little island to impress and contrast with the fast lane atmosphere of Singapore.
The Hotels in Bintan are all luxurious although there are a number of cheaper places to stay as well. You can find boutique villas and separate bungalow accommodation as well as large international resorts and hotels and there are a few places offering colonial buildings that have been modernised into hotels. Recommended Bintan hotels feature excellent facilities with air conditioning, hot water, luxury bathrooms and full entertainment systems as standard and most have unreal views looking out over the South China Sea or over the incredible valleys or parks that inhabit the Island of Bintan. Dinning at the Hotels in Bintan is usually offered in at least two restaurants with the exception of some of the smaller Bintanhotels and the boutique villas although a lot of care is taken to satisfy the culinary needs of people from all over Asia and generally there is great Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indonesian and plenty of other dishes such as European cuisine.
The hotels in Bintan also seem to have bought up a lot of space meaning they generally include large grounds and many of them have used their space to good effect with large gardens, water gardens or even a 9 hole golf course. This all adds to the feeling of retreat, the open spaces link into the views of the ocean and the valleys, mountains and forest well complimenting the atmosphere and leaving you with a tranquil feeling that contrasts so strongly with Singapore that is immediately obvious so many residents choose Hotels in Bintan as there short get away destination.
