Bali is one of the islands in Indonesia and is one of the 33 provinces, located between East Java on the west and Lombok on the east. It is part of the lesser Sunda Islands with 153 kilometer long and 112 kilometer wide. The island has more than 4 million population with the majority of 92% Hindu, followed by Moslem, Christian, Catholic and Buddhist.

The provincial capital of Bali is Denpasar, located on the southern part of the island. Bali is mostly surrounded by coral reefs and beaches. Bali can be accessed by public ferry and buses from East Java on the western part, PELNI and private boats to Benoa Harbour in Denpasar, ferry and buses from Lombok on the eastern part. Ferry from Ketapang in East Java takes up 45 minutes to Gilimanuk. From Lembar Harbour to Padang Bai Harbour is around 4 hours sailing by public ferry.
Domestic and international flights are served Bali International Airport on regular basis.
