Adam Air is one of the Indonesia private airlines based in Soekarno Hatta
International Airport of Jakarta. It is one of the Indonesia low cost carriers
serving all main cities at competitive air fares. The company was founded
in 2002 by one of Indonesia businessman and the speaker of Indonesia's House of
Representatives with Ms Sandra Ang and started the flight operation on 19
December 2003.
At the beginning of its flight service, Adam Air leased two Boeing 737
from GE Capital Aviation Services. The company now operates 6 Boeing 737-200, 4
Boeing 737-300, 7 Boeing 737-400, and 1 Boeing 737-500. Since then Adam Air has
expanded its flight destination to main cities and towns in
Indonesia.
Adam Air flight destinations include from / to Jakarta, Denpasar,
Balikpapan, Banda Aceh, Banjarmasin, Jambi, Lampung, Medan, Padang,
Palembang, Pangkal Pinang, Bengkulu, Solo, Pekanbaru, Pontianak, Semarang,
Surabaya, Ujung Pandang and Yogyakarta. It also serves international flights
from / to Jakarta - Singapore, Medan - Penang in Malaysia.
